Job Summary

Roles/Responsibilities:

Develop and participate in RFP creation evaluation and vendor selection for GIS and IT initiatives.
Lead the planning and execution of a GIS modernization project.
Report on the status of projects and performance of personnel.
Collaborate across departments to improve GIS workflows data accuracy and integration with enterprise systems.
Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and vendors through status reports meetings and presentations.
Maintain a tracking mechanism to ensure IT investments and projects meet or exceed customer expectations.
Navigate complex interpersonal dynamics including working collaboratively with diverse teams managing challenging situations with professionalism and exercising patience and sound judgment.

Desirable Skills:

Experience managing GIS modernization projects (e.g. migrations to ArcGIS Pro/Online and Esri Utility Network).
Strong project management skills for planning execution and reporting.
Technical GIS expertise.
Experience leading RFP processes vendor selection and management.
Ability to collaborate across departments and handle complex team dynamics with effective communication patience and adaptability
