Community Health Educator(CTRC)
Location/Schedule:This is a 2 year grant funded position based in the Winston-Salem community. Candidates must be able to facilitate offerings in person in Winston-Salem (WS) and be within commuting distance to the WS office.
Your Impact:At Crossnore Communities for Children we believe healing happens in relationshipsand you can be part of that our Community Health Educator (CTRC) youll bring hope healing and education to Winston-Salem this role youll empower community members schools and organizations to understand and respond to the effects of trauma stress and adversity. Youll design and lead creative learning opportunities using Crossnores Trauma-Resilient Communities frameworkhelping youth families and providers build resilience is meaningful community-based work where every training every connection and every conversation can change a life. Hiring Range:$55000 to $63000 annually -Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Candidates who meet only the minimum requirements can expect to start at the beginning of the range while those with additional and relevant experience and/or advanced skills may be considered for higher starting pay within the range.

Education/Experience/Licensure: - Bachelors degree in a human services health services education social work or related field required. Masters degree is strongly preferred.
- 5 years experience working with children adolescents and/or families in community-based organizations.
- 3 years experience in facilitating training related to children adolescents and/or families.
- Experience with content development public speaking and implementing coordinating and evaluating programs required.
- Experience or training in the areas of adversity trauma-informed care resilience wellness youth development and learning theory preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Key Responsibilities: - Develop market implement and evaluate educational programs and workshops related to youth mental health adversity and resilience.
- Facilitate trainings using frameworks such as Trauma Resilient Communities Youth Mental Health First Aid and S.E.L.F. Psychoeducation.
- Coordinate logistics for community trainingsspace setup materials IT needs and participant communication.
- Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations schools churches and service agencies.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive list of youth and family resources within the Winston-Salem area.
- Represent Crossnore CTRC in coalitions and community meetings.
- Track participation and impact using agency databases and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with leadership on budgets planning and progress updates in alignment with grant requirements.
- Support staff training needs within the agency and contribute to a trauma-informed culture.
- Perform other duties as assigned to advance community resilience and healing.
