Position Overview:
Avisford is seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while ensuring all work meets our high-quality standards.
You will work with a team of dedicated professionals who value safety precision and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes tire rotations brake inspections and fluid checks.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and software.
Conduct repairs on engines transmissions steering systems suspension and other vehicle components.
Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers about vehicle issues and recommended repairs.
Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (trade certification or technical training preferred).
Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic (minimum 2 years preferred).
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Preferred Qualifications:
ASE or Red Seal Certification (or working toward certification).
Experience with insert specific brands or vehicle types if applicable.
Knowledge of computerized vehicle systems.
