Based in our Houston TX location we are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead high-impact engineering efforts and elevate technical standards across our product lines. This role is responsible for leading a high-performing technical team that delivers comprehensive engineering support to ensure product functionality quality cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Verifying that all assigned product line designs comply with applicable industry standards customer requirements and sound engineering principles. Assures compliance with all Company policies and procedures in the design development application and documentation of products.
- Product enhancements rationalization and cost reduction necessary to establish or maintain a technical leadership.
- Preparation and maintenance of the Product Engineering data base which includes drawings reports procedures bills of material and other documents required for the design manufacture assembly and testing of the product.
- Plan direct supervise and evaluate the work activities of Engineers and Designers assigned to the product lines. Directs coordinates and monitors personnel in the performance of assigned tasks in the Group.
- Develop manage and maintain an effective organization of direct/indirect local/global engineering team of 3-10 personnel while ensuring that all personnel understand the responsibility authority and accountability of their position.
- Provide technical support to the Sales and Marketing teams collaborates with the Product Manager to meet customer technical needs and works closely with the Sales Applications Manager to ensure technical leadership in product design and application.
- Provide technical support to Manufacturing Quality and vendors; collaborates with the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure all quality requirements are defined and met.
- Prepare monthly reports for upper management including status of projects and objectives performance to budget and other issues and concerns.

For This Role You Will Need:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university (Other Engineering degrees considered based on experience)
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in engineering design evaluation and application
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering management (team or project)
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Experience in mechanical design pumps valves regulators and actuators
- Demonstrated strengths in structured problem solving and setting up engineering processes
