Position Summary The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst will report to the Sr. Director of FP&A to build out the finance function in standardizing report output and cadence creating new analysis and acting as a proactive partner across different functions. This role will support the strategic finance activities such as budgeting forecasting and financial reporting that will support key business decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen attention to detail and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. - Prepare the weekly monthly quarterly and annual reports ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborating with the operational leadership team in highlighting key drivers risks and opportunities
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models for budgeting forecasting and business performance analysis.
- Organize and manage complex financial data to uncover key business insights and trends.
- Continuously assess and refine FP&A processes procedures and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis on key business initiatives or projects as requested by management.
- Act as a trusted financial partner to functional leaders providing recommendations and solutions that support business initiatives.
Requirements: - 3 years of experience in FP&A or similar role within a corporate finance environment.
- Bachelors Degree in finance accounting or business analytics preferred
- Educational industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including the use of Power Query Power Pivot and financial modeling.
- Strong ability to manage complex datasets utilized for financial reporting and analysis.
- Experience working within an entrepreneurial high-growth private-equity-backed company is a plus.
- Strong executive presence comfortable and credible interfacing within executive leadership the board of directors and private-equity investors.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet business deadlines.
- Must have the desire and demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.
- Extremely detail oriented and accustomed to ensuring absolute accuracy for all budget related aspects.
