Job Summary

Kōrero mō te tūranga About the role

Are you someone who thrives on organisation values accuracy and enjoys being at the centre of things As our new Legal Administrator based in Wellington and reporting to Associate General Counsel youll play a pivotal role in supporting Contacts Board processes maintaining company records and assisting with a range of corporate activities. Youll work closely with our legal team the General Counsel & Company Secretary and stakeholders across the business ensuring our legal operations run smoothly and efficiently.

What your days might look like:

  • Keeping company records and statutory registers accurate and up to date supporting Contacts governance obligations.
  • Preparing for Board and Committee meetings making sure materials are ready records are maintained and resolutions are filed.
  • Acting as company secretary for subsidiaries and joint ventures coordinating agendas attending meetings and keeping minutes.
  • Supporting listed company administration including releasing NZX and ASX announcements (with guidance from the team).
  • Providing administrative support to the legal team including document management and record keeping.
  • Helping with corporate activities like the Annual Shareholder Meeting and ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal obligations.

Youre someone who enjoys supporting others and takes pride in accuracy and organisation. Ideally youll bring experience in company administration legal operations or corporate governance support along with strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively are important. If youre proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems thats a bonus.
