Carlow University is seeking experienced and dedicated nurse practitioner professionals to serve as Adjunct Faculty in our Graduate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Program. Adjunct faculty are responsible for teaching graduate-level courses mentoring FNP students and contributing to the academic rigor of the program. Key Responsibilities: - Teach assigned graduate-level FNP courses (didactic and/or clinical) in accordance with the program curriculum and course objectives.
- Develop prepare and deliver engaging lectures learning activities and assignments.
- Evaluate student performance through timely and constructive feedback on assignments exams and clinical evaluations.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and grades.
- Stay current with best practices in FNP clinical practice education and relevant accreditation standards.
- Engage in effective communication with students program director and department chair.
Minimum Qualifications: - Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher from an accredited institution.
- Current unrestricted Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current unrestricted certification and licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical experience as an FNP.
- Prior teaching experience in a graduate nursing program is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: - Doctoral degree (e.g. DNP PhD EdD) from an accredited institution.
