As part of a conditional binding agreement to acquire another Australian payment services provider subject to regulatory approvals we are looking for a Workstream Lead to join our Program team.
The Workstream Lead Legal Risk & Regulatory is accountable for leading the integration workstream focused on Legal Risk and Regulatory functions for the Program. The role will drive alignment across both organisations to ensure a seamless transition and unified operating model in these domains.
Youll also make an impact by:
- Working closely with the Integration Management Office and Business teams this role orchestrates delivery across multiple streams ensuring a smooth and high-impact transition aligned with Cuscals growth and reputation objectives.
- As a Line 1 representative the role also ensures adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements by identifying documenting and mitigating potential compliance and operational risks throughout the integration lifecycle.
- Lead integration planning and execution for Risk Regulatory and Legal domains.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory obligations are met.
- Align risk management frameworks and controls across both organizations.
- Facilitate due diligence contract harmonization and legal risk mitigation.
- Report progress risks and issues to the Integration Program Director and relevant governance bodies.
- Provide regular updates to the Program Sponsor and Steering Committee.

- Strong understanding of functional domains including Legal Risk and Compliance and stakeholder communications.
- Demonstrated success in aligning business processes technology and reporting frameworks across merged entities.
- Exceptional planning and delivery skills with experience in governance reporting and executive communication.
- Strong financial management experience including budget integration and vendor rationalisation.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite especially Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with well-honed executive presentation skills
