** Position is part time up to 15 hours per week.**
Position: After-School Tutor
General Purpose:
Tutor provides one-on-one or small group academic support to Members in middle and high school helping them to build essential skills and succeed in their coursework. The tutor will assess Member needs provide targeted instruction and create personalized learning strategies to ensure that each Member receives the support necessary to meet educational goals.

Be a role model by always maintaining enthusiasm and a positive attitude with youth and within the Club community.
Convey warmth caring & proper guidance in all interactions with Members focusing especially on developing academic skills.
Ensure the safety of all Members at all times
Education and/or Expertise:
Expertise in a related field.
Four-year degree from an accredited college or university required.
Strong knowledge of middle and high school curriculum in core subjects.
Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
Patience empathy and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs if Members.
Requirements:
Mandatory negative TB test
Applicants must be able to successfully perform the essential physical functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs.
Sufficient strength agility and mobility to perform essential functions of position and to supervise program activities.
Requires ability to walk sit stand bend squat pull/push grasp up to 4 hours per day.
