Job Summary
Are you someone who thrives on keeping projects moving and teams connected We are looking for an Associate Project Manager to join the GIS team and help drive key initiatives that support electric utility operations across multiple regions.
In this role youll work side-by-side with the GIS Manager coordinating efforts tracking progress and making sure the right people have the right information at the right time. Youll be embedded in a collaborative team that values precision communication and innovation.
Responsibilities:
In this role youll work closely with the GIS Manager to support the planning tracking and execution of GIS initiatives across our clients electric utility operations. Youll help coordinate efforts across teams monitor timelines and deliverables and ensure projects stay aligned with strategic goals.
Youll also be responsible for maintaining accurate GIS-related data in SAP supporting documentation and reporting needs and facilitating meetings with stakeholders. Collaboration with technical teams will be key to ensuring data integrity and resolving any project risks or issues that arise. Along the way youll keep organized records and help drive communication across departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Project Management Engineering Geography GIS or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in project coordination or project management preferably in a technical or GIS-related environment within the utility industry.
- Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project Smartsheet or similar).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Working knowledge of GIS concepts tools and workflows (e.g. ArcGIS)
- PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.

- This position pays between $65000 and $85000 annually and is an exempt position.
- Benefits offered include company sponsored medical dental vision and retirement plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement voluntary life disability critical illness accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
