Job Summary
- Prior experience in basic cooking methods like cutting of ingredients grilling frying and preparing various dishes.
- Upkeeping cleanliness standards.
- Prepare food items as per standard recipe cards whilst maintaining portion control and minimizing wastage
- Apply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
- Clean and maintain all equipment within the food production area. Focus on Cross contamination.
- Versatile in the kitchen with experience supporting both culinary and kitchen porter duties.
Other Responsibilities
- Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedure.
- Attend all briefings meetings and trainings as assigned by management.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management.
- Service oriented with an eye for details.
- Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team as well as work independently.
Qualifications :
- Should be comfortable doing both Early Morning and evening shifts.
- Flexible to work 5 days between Monday - Sunday.
- Knowledge in Culinary department is preferred.
- Should be able to multi-task.
- Team Work.
- Time Keeping.
