Job Summary
We are seeking Technical Marketing Manager to join our San Jose CA team. The Technical Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that position Flexs technical capabilitiesparticularly in Power Electronicsto drive customer engagement and business growth. This role bridges engineering expertise with market insights to create compelling value propositions and technical content.
What a typical day looks like:
Market & Technology Positioning
- Define and articulate Flexs technical differentiators in power conversion energy storage and electrification.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new technologies and solutions aligning with business unit objectives.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends and opportunities in Power Electronics.
Content Development & Enablement
- Create technical marketing collateral such as white papers case studies presentations and solution briefs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate complex technical concepts into clear customer-focused messaging.
- Support sales teams with technical insights and tools to enable strategic selling.
Customer & Industry Engagement
- Represent Flex at industry events conferences and webinars as a subject matter expert in Power Electronics.
- Engage with customers to understand technical requirements and position Flexs capabilities effectively.
- Work closely with Regional VPs Solution Architects and Business Development teams to ensure alignment between marketing and sales strategies.
The experience we are looking to add to our team:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Marketing or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical marketing or product management within EMS/CMO or engineering environments with strong exposure to Power Electronics.
- Proven ability to create technical content and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of strategic marketing frameworks and tools.
- Familiarity with power conversion technologies energy storage systems and electrification trends.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of key financial metrics.
