To lead and manage the delivery of high-quality maintenance and facilities services across the hospital estate ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and healthcare engineering standards. This role is pivotal in supporting the hospitals operational excellence patient safety and strategic development through effective management of capital projects IT infrastructure and insourced/outsourced facilities services.
Principal Accountabilities:
Lead the day-to-day delivery of hard and soft facilities management services including security waste management pest control.
Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and minimal disruption.
Manage new capital projects relating to buildings and infrastructure.
Knowledge
Thorough understanding of building systems maintenance procedures and security protocols.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements (e.g. fire safety H&S safeguarding).
Awareness of sustainability and energy efficiency practices.
Desirable
Experience in a healthcare or corporate environment.
Project management qualification or experience.
First Aid certification.
Knowledge of emergency response planning and business continuity.
