Whats the role
As Senior Manager Governance youll play a key role in shaping and maintaining the governance framework across our Commercial Bank. Youll lead the coordination of risk committees forums and executive reporting ensuring governance processes are robust well-documented and aligned with regulatory expectations. This full-time role is based in Sydney with flexibility to work from home as needed.
Youll be responsible for preparing high-quality papers for senior leadership and board-level committees managing governance registers and driving continuous improvement across our governance practices. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment enjoy working with senior stakeholders and have a passion for structure and clarity this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
What do I need
To succeed in this role youll bring a mix of governance expertise strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
- Strong governance experience in a large complex organisation ideally within financial services.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear concise and insightful papers.
- Proven ability to manage multiple committees forums or governance processes with precision.
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and navigating shifting priorities.
