DescriptionJOB SUMMARY
The Marketing Content Executive/ Assistant Manager is part of an important team that creates and executes property-level communications to our guests. Under the leadership of the Director ofMarketing Communications & Public Relations this role conceptualizes and creates on-brand content to guests through traditional digital and social media channels all with the goal of elevating the image of the hotel. This role helps build direct marketing plans targeted campaigns and activated channels to the end of driving consumer awareness and preference increasing market share and building broader portfolio and brand awareness. This role assists with building deep partnerships with the regional eCommerce and Sales & Marketing teams to verify all local social and digital marketing efforts are effectively integrated with the selling efforts for the organization.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required:
- Degree or diploma from an accredited institution in graphic design social media communications or related major and 2 years experience in graphic design social media digital or related professional area; hospitality marketing or digital advertising experience preferred
OR
4-year bachelors degree in graphic design fine arts digital media or related major; no work experience required.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Creative Content & Brand Storytelling
- Create compelling visual content graphics photography and videos for hotel promotions across all digital platforms ensuring brand consistency and visual excellence
- Design marketing collateral for F&B outlets events weddings spa and room promotions that drive engagement and bookings
- Manage end-to-end creative production for seasonal campaigns festive promotions and special events
- Coordinate photo shoots with photographers agencies and internal teams to build a strong visual asset library
- Manage vendor relationships for photography videography and other creative services
- Maintain organized archives of all visual assets including photography videos and design files
- Verifies all collateral is as per brand standard guidelines and in compliance with Brand Standard Audit (BSA).
Social Media Management & Community Engagement
- Supports facilitation of social media engagement and updating content in local digital channels (e.g. hotel website travel sites).
- Assists with promotions campaign in F&B weddings spa rooms and events through relevant digital and social media channels.
- Engages in proactive online reputation management by surfacing relevant guest comments (positive or negative) in social media channels and responds accordingly.
- Create Instagram Stories Reels and other short-form video content that showcases hotel experiences
- Collaborate with F&B Events and Operations teams to amplify promotions and drive incremental revenue through social channels
- Track social media performance metrics and provide insights for optimization
- Stay ahead of social media trends platform updates and content formats to keep our presence fresh and relevant
- Work with external agency on strategizing and executing engaging content calendar that is on brand
Digital Marketing & Campaign Execution
- Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across email social media display advertising and hotel websites
- Assist in managing F&B promotional calendars across digital channels
- Ensure all digital touchpoints reflect accurate compelling and on-brand messaging
Collateral & Print Production
- Design printed materials including brochures menus in-room collateral signage and event materials
- Manage inventory and distribution of marketing collateral across hotel departments
- Produce display signage and temporary promotional materials for public areas
- Ensure all printed and published materials meet brand standards and quality expectations
Collaboration & Support
- Partner closely with Sales & Events Operations F&B and Revenue teams to support their marketing needs with creative solutions
- Monitor competitor activity marketing trends and emerging platforms
- Support hotel newsletter production and internal communications as needed
- Take on additional creative and marketing projects as assigned
General
- Assists in the development co-ordination and execution of all communications activities.
- Helps with the publication of hotels newsletter(s).
- Supports communications duties and functions as deemed necessary.
- Assists in the execution and coordination of F&B promotions.
- Assist with the Director of Marketing Communications to verify the Hotels website and related websites are updated on a regular basis.
- Provides marketing assistance and act as a marketing subject matter expert for GMs Sales Leaders and Managers and Revenue leaders.
- Keeps abreast of competition and its collateral advertising and marketing efforts and constantly evolving digital and marketing trends.
- Performs other reasonable job duties as assigned by the director.
