Job Summary
Position: R&D Technician
Contract Assignment: 12 Months (Potential Temp to Perm)
Location: Minnetonka MN
Schedule: Business Shift 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Range: $25 - $30 hourly paid weekly.
(Exact compensation may vary based on skills experience and location. Base pay information is based on market location.)
Position Summary:This role will primarily focus on performing mechanical design verification testing and supporting related R&D activities.
Job Purpose:Under limited supervision this position supports R&D engineers scientists and project teams in the development testing and analysis of products materials processes and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct test method and equipment qualifications.
- Perform mechanical design verification testing in accordance with project requirements.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation following established procedures and best practices.
- Integrate quality and compliance into all aspects of work.
- Ensure all testing and documentation meet regulatory and internal quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree (AA) or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 1 year of related hands-on testing experience.
- Proficiency in test methodologies and data documentation.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow technical directions.
- No chemistry background required.
- Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Working Conditions:
- May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels such as from office equipment.
- The ability to lift up to 30lbs.
- Use of computers and technology.
