Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated NPI Technician to work on-site with our client a top-tier electronic manufacturing company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Responsibilities:
As an NPI Technician on the team you will collaborate with NPI Engineers NPI Technicians and R&D Engineers to:
- Work in an Electrical Static Discharge (ESD) controlled environment
- Turn on and troubleshoot PCAs
- Build / assemble full instrument prototypes
- Calibrate and run automated tests on prototypes
- Troubleshoot and repair prototypes
- Build troubleshoot and maintain test racks containing electronic test and measurement equipment
- Execute automated performance characterization tests on prototypes at temperature and humidity and collect characterization data
- Help to maintain the NPI Lab environment
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or NPI environment or equivalent
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- General knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing
- Experience in electronic mechanical assembly including torque drivers
- Proficient with the Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications including MS Word Excel Outlook
- Desire to work in a fast-paced results driven environment
- Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical issues effectively
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional team environment successfully
- Demonstrated flexibility and tolerance of ambiguity and change
- Ability to deliver results under schedule pressure
- Able to identify prioritize and solve technical problems
