Job Summary
Job Title: MRI Technician (Traveler)
Job Type: Contract-Onsite
Location: Des Moines IA 50314
Duration: 3 Months
Shift: 07:00 AM 07:30 PM (M-F)
SUMMARY OF POSITION
This is a traveler MRI Technologist role within the Radiology department in Des Moines IA. The technician will work onsite performing high-quality MRI scans while ensuring patient safety comfort and accurate imaging. The role requires independent workflow management strong technical MRI skills and experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
The position follows 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM 7:30 PM) for 3 days per week totaling 36 hours. Candidates must be comfortable with long shifts and flexible weekday scheduling.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
- Experience as a Traveler MRI Tech preferred
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Experience with PACS systems
- Strong patient communication and attention to detail
