Summary:
-
Set up test apparatus and perform testing of electronic circuit card assemblies RF circuits and subassemblies
-
Conduct tests in accordance with established methods procedures standards and sequences
-
Assemble and lay out production electronic equipment per engineering designs and specifications
-
Adjust and calibrate electronic test systems as required
-
Troubleshoot malfunctions to the component level by adjusting or replacing parts as directed
-
Utilize schematic diagrams to isolate failures in analog and digital circuitry
-
Apply strong knowledge of solid-state devices and micro-circuitry
-
Determine appropriate test methods and recommend modifications to test equipment
-
Analyze test results to evaluate product and equipment performance
-
Assist engineers with development and improvement of test procedures for new products
-
Recommend product or manufacturing process improvements
-
Support quality verification activities using statistical process control or other quality methods
-
Work effectively in a fast-paced production environment to meet customer schedules
-
Use hand tools small power tools and electronic test equipment
-
Operate measurement devices including:
-
Digital multimeters
-
Oscilloscopes
-
Network analyzers
-
Frequency standards
-
Signal generators
-
RF power meters
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent with technical training equivalent to a Technical Associate degree or demonstrated para-engineering experience
-
Minimum 1 year of experience testing electronic assemblies including component-level troubleshooting of solid-state digital and RF circuits
-
Proficient in electronics testing diagnostics and circuit card troubleshooting
-
Experience with flying probe and high-power testing; extensive RF testing
-
Familiarity with radar systems
-
Strong electrical troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic data collection systems
-
Basic computer skills required
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR)
