Roles and Responsibilities:

The role is multifaceted and crucial for the success of the institution with a special focus on managing a girls residential school.

1. Administrative Responsibilities

  • School Management: Oversee daily operations ensuring all activities run smoothly and efficiently.

  • Policy Implementation: Implement and enforce all school policies especially those specific to the residential aspect of the school.

  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the school budget ensuring proper resource allocation.

  • Staff Supervision: Hire train and supervise all staff ensuring they are motivated and effective.

  • Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance of all school facilities including dormitories classrooms and dining halls.

2. Academic Responsibilities

  • Curriculum: Ensure the curriculum meets educational standards and student needs.

  • Academic Oversight: Monitor and evaluate teaching methods and educational programs.

  • Student Assessment: Oversee the assessment of student progress including exams and testing.

  • Professional Development: Promote continuous professional development for all teachers and staff.

3. Pastoral and Residential Life

  • Student Welfare: Ensure the safety and well-being of all students providing a supportive environment.

  • Behavior Management: Implement and monitor disciplinary policies.
