- Translate fintech business needs (payments investments credit) into technical product requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering to design scalable secure and compliant financial solutions.
- Manage product roadmaps with a focus on technical feasibility reliability and scalability.
- Define and oversee API and integration requirements with core banking applications card services and AI-driven platforms etc.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations security and data protection standards.
- Evaluate and incorporate AI capabilities (e.g. fraud detection personalization predictive analytics) into product strategies.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work directly with the Product Delivery Manager to align technical product goals with delivery timelines.
- Partner with product discovery product design and product management teams to ensure end-to-end lifecycle success.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure effective execution reporting and risk management.
- Manage third-party vendor integrations (banking partners card networks AI solution providers).
Product Development & Delivery:
- Oversee backlog prioritization balancing features technical debt and infrastructure improvements.
- Support sprint planning grooming and technical documentation.
- Configure and manage workflow tools (e.g. Jira Confluence Trello or equivalent) to facilitate seamless product delivery.
- Champion best practices in agile delivery DevOps adoption and CI/CD pipelines.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
- Define and monitor technical KPIs (latency uptime system errors).
- Ensure products maintain high reliability security and performance post-launch.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of technical issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay current with emerging fintech AI and payments industry trends.
Education/Professional Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or related technical field.
- Masters degree or professional certifications (e.g. AWS Azure Agile Scrum PMP) is an advantage.
Experience:
- 35 years in product management with a strong technical background in fintech.
- Hands-on experience working with core banking applications card services and APIs.
- Exposure to AI products with an understanding of how AI can be applied from a product management perspective.
- Familiarity with workflow/configuration tools (e.g. Jira Confluence Trello) used in product delivery.
- Experience collaborating with project managers on large-scale delivery initiatives.
- Track record of successfully managing technical products from concept to launch.
