Deputy Catering Supervisor - George Dixon Academy B17 8LF

Grade 3 27254 - 33699 pro rata consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review

35 hours per week term time only working times are TBC Monday Friday term time only plus 6 days in the school holiday for cleaning & training.

Cityserve is a Birmingham City Council catering service for school meals providing fresh and nutritious food for school kitchen across the UK healthy eating is a continuous theme throughout all of our menus and we are committed to the wellbeing of pupils. As a Deputy Catering Supervisor your responsibilities will include:

  • assisting the Catering Supervisor and managing the unit in the Catering Supervisors absence
  • delivery of daily staff briefings
  • ensuring all food and health and safety regulations are followed
  • weekly online payroll submissions
  • staff training
  • good Allergen understanding

Essential Criteria:

  • Food Safety Level 2
  • Allergen Certificate
  • good verbal and written communication skills
  • Allergy Awareness Certificate
  • experience in a similar environment
