Job Summary and Responsibilities
Registered Nurse works in conjunction with other staff members in the completion of the nursing process providing quality care for all patients (pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric) in the Ambulatory Care Unit within the framework of the philosophy and policies established by Saint Bernardine Medical Center. Is able to assess data reflective of the patients status and interpret information needed to identify each patients requirements relative to his/her age specific need and to provide appropriate care. Participates in patient and family teaching by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care providers in maintaining standards for the Professional Nursing Practice in the clinical setting.
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Bernardine Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St. Bernardine Medical Centers strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.

Job Requirements
- Prefer one (1) year experience in area of specialty.
- Current California RN License
- AHA-BLS (Basic Life Support)
- AHA-ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Critical Care Course Completion within one-year
- Basic EKG within 90-days of employment
