| Job Description: | Over the last several years the University of Florida Levin College of Law has expanded our national profile through a number of strategic initiatives. The changes at the school have been recognized by U.S. News & World Report and other publications. To continue our success we are seeking a Program Coordinator who will embrace an environment of innovation and seek to be a part of the school during this exciting time. Reporting to the Senior Assistant Dean of Students the incumbent will be responsible for designing developing and overseeing student organization and career services events and programs for 1L 2L 3L and LL.M. classes of the law school. The program coordinator will advise and support student groups and special student populations as they organize plan and execute large- and small-scale events and meetings. They will communicate with student leaders student groups and individuals to ensure they comply with university and departmental policies and procedures. Student Event Support and Execution

Assist the Senior Assistant Dean of Students in the creation organization and updating of employment and personal information on all students being served by the Office of Career Services. Data is used for a variety of internal assessments as well as the basis for presentations to faculty trustee and other bodies and for submission to admissions NALP the ABA and other outside publications. Attend student group events employer events for specific student groups and industry events. The Levin College of Law is growing and changing daily. All College of Law community members are expected to perform other duties as assigned in furtherance of our strategic goals. |
| Expected Salary: | $50000-$57500 |
| Required Qualifications: | Masters degree in education or an academic field directly related to the program coordinators area of responsibility; or a bachelors degree in education or an academic field directly related to the advisors area of responsibility and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
| Preferred: | Excellent communication skills strong computer skills (including proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications) and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time paying close attention to detail. Strong organizational skills are necessary. Enjoy working in a team environment and have excellent interpersonal skills. Strong emotional intelligence and listening skills as evidenced by education experience or other professional development training. Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to hold individual meetings to lead large group programs and to develop website and printed material for both students and faculty members. A proven track record of creative problem-solving and success working in a team environment. |
