The Senior Manager AI Delivery & Lifecycle Enablement drives and supports the activation of the AI operating model within Marketing Communications & Social Impact (MCSI) enabling teams to mobilize and deliver AI capabilities effectively including central team delivery support for AI use case owners guiding them through the full lifecycle ensuring initiatives comply with BMOs AI Governance Framework and Risk Directive and getting new solutions launched.

Provides consulting and expertise in support of business and enterprise needs. Liaises with stakeholders to understand problems and opportunities to facilitate the MCSI departments goals by understanding business vision objectives and key performance indicators. Aligns AI technology requirements and solutions to a real business need meets essential quality standards and ensures approval by all relevant stakeholders. Acts as a consultant to business partners in collaboration with cross functional enabling departments. Promotes new AI technologies processes and methodologies leadership alignment and user adoption.

Strategic Consulting & Alignment

  • Provides thought leadership in the development of new ideas processes and emerging technology.

  • Helps connect AI initiatives to broader marketing strategy and business objectives ensuring solutions meet real business needs.

  • Stays abreast of industry technical and business trends through benchmarking and/or participation in professional associations.

  • Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.

  • Acts as the prime subject matter expert for internal/external stakeholders.

  • Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine.

  • Assesses the quality of supporting documentation including business and process requirements documents to ensure proper analysis supports recommendations or demonstrate continued alignment to strategic objectives.


Relationship Management

  • Builds exceptional relationships with stakeholders.

  • Collaborates and liaises with the business and the technology development and support groups.

  • Develops a deep understanding of organizational complexity to build strong rapport with internal stakeholders for the construction and delivery of the solution.


Lifecycle Delivery & Enablement

  • Supports the build and activation of the AI operating model within MCSI enabling teams to mobilize and deliver AI capabilities effectively.

  • Coordinates intake documentation approvals and risk assessments for AI use cases ensuring smooth transitions across lifecycle stages.

  • Helps define business requirements for analytics and reporting to ensure data insights inform business decision making.

  • Breaks down strategic problems and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.

  • Completes root-cause analysis to determine underlying causes and participates in problem resolution for complex issues at all levels.

  • Understands and follows a project requirements management plan so that activities and milestones of the project team can be measured against the goals of the plan.

  • Facilitates discussions and follows a disciplined approach to plan elicit analyze document communicate and manage business requirements with stakeholders; applies a variety of elicitation techniques to probe challenge and understand requirements.

  • Ensures AI initiatives comply with BMOs AI Governance Framework and Risk Directive embedding responsible AI practices and supporting risk and compliance processes.

Change Management

  • Drives change management programs of varying scope and type including readiness assessments planning stakeholder management execution evaluation and sustainment of initiatives.

  • Supports enterprise AI training efforts and helps socialize governance best practices to foster a culture of ethical and effective AI use.

  • Supports development of the communication strategy focusing on positively influencing or changing behaviour.

  • Communicates and engages across stakeholder groups during construction and delivery of solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Typically 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Knowledge of software development practice concepts/methodologies (i.e. waterfall Agile iterative) and technologies obtained through formal training and/or work experience.

  • Knowledge of technical/business environment (i.e. Microsoft business technologies and other AI technologies).

  • Understanding of industry standards and standard business capabilities.

  • Knowledge of business analysis project delivery practices and standards across the project lifecycle.

  • Understanding of techniques associated with process modeling and user-centered design within the context of the organizational standards.

  • Familiar with business strategy and assessments (i.e. feasibility studies business cases and/or cost/benefit project sizing and costing and current state analysis/needs assessments).

  • Passionate about implementing change in a fast past environment. Previous experience supporting Marketing Executives is an asset.

  • Seasoned professional with a combination of education consulting experience and industry knowledge.

Salary:

$94600.00 - $176000.00

The above represents BMO Financial Groups pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location skills experience education and qualifications for the role and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Groups expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Groups total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives discretionary bonuses as well as other perks and rewards.
