Job Title: Senior QA Engineer

Location: 100% - Remote Canada

Experience: 5 Years

Role Summary: NearSource is looking for a QA Engineer to architect and execute automation solutions for a Fortune 500 product company. This role involves ensuring quality and performance across complex distributed systems by partnering with cross-functional engineering teams and leveraging modern cloud-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and enhance automated testing frameworks using Selenium Cypress and Playwright
• Define and implement end-to-end test strategies aligned with enterprise software development cycles
• Lead integration regression and system validation for API-driven and web-based platforms
• Develop robust test automation using Python and Pytest in CI/CD environments
• Administer Jenkins pipelines for continuous quality assurance in deployment workflows
• Manage cloud-based QA infrastructure using AWS services
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive resolution on critical quality issues

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficient in designing automated tests using Selenium Cypress and Playwright
• Strong command of Python with automation experience using Pytest
• Demonstrated expertise in Jenkins pipeline management and CI/CD principles
• Hands-on experience with AWS for QA environment provisioning and test execution

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience -based enterprise applications
• Familiarity with API testing tools and contract-based testing strategies
• ISTQB or AWS certifications are beneficial

Certifications:

• ISTQB or AWS certifications are a plus
