(Year 1 Teacher) Responsibilities
The Year 1 Teacher will teach high-quality systematic phonics guided reading and engaging writing sequences. The Year 1 Teacher will plan purposeful continuous provision run small-group interventions and keep careful formative records. The Year 1 Teacher will meet parents to report progress and will contribute to moderation activities scheduled before January 2026 and after January 2026. The Year 1 Teacher will be expected to attend planning days ahead of January 2026 and begin teaching from January 2026.

We are seeking a Year 1 Teacher with QTS (or equivalent) strong KS1 classroom practice and confident phonics delivery. The Year 1 Teacher should be enthusiastic about creating language-rich environments and able to start pre-term planning prior to January 2026 attend induction in January 2026 and teach from January 2026 as the Year 1 Teacher.
