Location: Essex MD 21221
Employment Type: PRN
Pay Rate: $10 - $14/hr; (Negotiable based on experience)
Shifts Available: 8-hr Shifts
- 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
- 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
- 11:00 PM 7:00 AM
Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNA) to join our healthcare team on a PRN this role you will provide quality care to elderly residents in a long-term care or assisted living setting. Youll assist with daily living activities promote resident comfort and dignity and work collaboratively with the nursing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming toileting and feeding
- Take and record vital signs such as temperature pulse and blood pressure
- Observe and report any changes in residents health or behavior to the nursing staff
- Assist with mobility and transfer of residents using proper techniques
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Follow all care plans and adhere to facility policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with residents families and staff
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living facility is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
