Job Title: Automobile Lead Technician
Department: Service Department
Reports to: Service Manager/Director
Position Description: The Automobile Technician is responsible for inspecting maintaining and repairing cars and light trucks. She/he provides the mechanical support for the automobile dealership. Requires proficient use of tools such as: computerized diagnostic tools and power tools (pneumatic wrenches lathes welding torches jacks and hoists).
Duties
Responsibilities:
- Perform equipment repairs and maintenance in accordance with company standards
- Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshoot issues with GM vehicles
- Weld and fabricate components as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service and sales support
- Maintain accurate records of repairs services and inventory
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of GM vehicles and their repair procedures
- Proficient in welding and auto body repair techniques
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required

Proven Dealer experience and Certification level. Will pay for training for Toyota Certification.
