About the role:
- Oversee a varied caseload of complex professional indemnity financial lines and construction claims.
- Deliver pragmatic strategic coverage and liability advice to both local and London market insurers.
- Lead and run matters independently - from pleadings and mediation through to court appearances and settlements.
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers while collaborating closely with partners on significant disputes.
- Play an active role in business development and relationship management with key insurer clients.
The ideal candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years post-admission experience ideally with a focus on professional indemnity financial lines or construction claims.
- Strong technical expertise in insurance litigation and coverage advice.
- Confident managing files end-to-end with excellent drafting and client relationship skills.
- Committed to mentoring junior team members and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
- Highly organised commercially minded and adaptable to a dynamic high-performing environment.
