Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot diagnose and repair truck and trailer refrigeration units including APUs.
Perform diagnostics using scanners electronic test equipment and onboard computer systems.
Complete preventative maintenance component replacement and general servicing of refrigeration systems.
Review shop orders and perform repairs including Freon leak detection part replacement soldering and welding.
Install new refrigeration units on trailers trucks and vans as needed.
Occasionally travel to customer sites to perform mobile diagnostics or repairs.
Operate vehicles safely and within all applicable traffic and environmental regulations.
Follow all company and equipment safety procedures while performing duties.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management in alignment with dealership objectives.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience diagnosing and repairing transport refrigeration units (Thermo King Carrier etc.)
Proficient with diagnostic tools scanners and basic computer systems.
Skilled in soldering welding and refrigerant leak detection and repair.
EPA 608/609 refrigerant certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
Valid drivers license and clean driving record; ability to travel to customer sites when required.
Strong attention to safety detail and quality of work in a fast-paced environment.
