The Shop Foreman role is a critical leadership position designed for a top-tier technician who enjoys mentoring others protecting quality standards and helping the shop operate at a high levelwithout stepping away from the tools entirely.

Role Overview

The Shop Foreman serves as the technical leader of the shop supporting technicians ensuring repair quality and partnering closely with the Service Manager and Assistant Service Manager to drive efficiency productivity and customer confidence. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends technical excellence with coaching and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the technical authority for diagnostics repair strategy and quality control
Support and mentor technicians to improve skill level productivity and consistency
Assist with workflow management job prioritization and bay efficiency
Perform final inspections and oversee complex or challenging repairs
Partner with service leadership to maintain strong shop KPIs and comeback prevention
Uphold shop standards for safety cleanliness and professionalism
