We are now looking a proactive dynamic and passionate individual to join our Brandsteam at Shangri-Las Headquarter office based in Hong Kong reporting to Assistant Vice President Brands.
As a key member of the brands team you will own the end-to-end development and execution of our global festive planning. You are responsible for translating the Shangri-La spirit into distinctive market-leading campaigns for key celebrations. You are expected to be a master storyteller and a data-driven marketer dedicated to driving brand unity commercial success and unforgettable guest experiences. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders from HQ and regional teams as well as collaborating with suppliers and vendors to build a comprehensive omnichannel festival campaign that fulfills our brand promise.
What youll be doing
1. Strategic Campaign Leadership & Conceptualization
- Develop and define the overarching brand strategy core concept and narrative for global festive campaigns.
- Conduct market analysis to ensure campaign concepts are distinctive culturally relevant and position Shangri-La as the top-of-mind festive destination.
- Create comprehensive business cases and strategic plans that guide campaign development from concept to implementation.
2. Global Brand Management & Asset Development
- Act as the global product owner for festive signature products and rituals ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and brand alignment.
- Oversee the development of all global marketing assets including visual identities taglines campaign playbooks and merchandise.
- Partner with agencies and internal teams to brief and produce all relative assets ensuring they meet brand standards and campaign objectives.
3. End-to-End Project & Production Management
- Own the holistic project management for festive campaign developing and maintaining master timelines critical paths and ensuring flawless on-time execution across all markets and functions.
- Host and manage the end-to-end production flow for global festive products (e.g. merchandise gift boxes). This includes accurately collecting and consolidating quantity forecasts from regional teams liaising with procurement and suppliers to meet production deadlines and ensuring meticulous accuracy in all order and distribution details.
4. Cross-Functional & Global-Local Alignment
- Lead the collaboration with HQ functions (F&B SLC Operations Design) regional teams and hotel properties to ensure strategic alignment throughout the campaign lifecycle.
- Develop and distribute the Global Campaign Playbook providing clear guidance to ensure consistent branding and execution worldwide.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships to drive campaign outcomes and secure necessary resources.
5. Commercial Acumen & Performance Analysis
- Work with finance on budget planning monitoring and recharging for all festive campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance against KPIs (brand engagement revenue member acquisition) and conduct post-campaign analysis to measure ROI and identify future opportunities.
- Pilot 1-2 new festive rituals or marketing innovations in priority markets using data to assess scalability.
What were looking for
- Bachelors degree in marketing Business Communications or a related field.
- Minimum of7 years of experiencein brand management marketing or campaign management preferably within the hospitality luxury retail or FMCG sectors.
- Proven track record in developing and launching integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Exceptional storytelling and creative briefing skills.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Experience in a global role working with diverse cultures and markets is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
