Job Title: Operations Transition Analyst

Contract Type: 12 months FTC

Location: London

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Transition Analyst to work within our Operations Transition Team.

You will play a pivotal role in managing fund launches transition activities and operational onboarding while supporting the Operations Transition Manager Head of Investment Operations and representing the department at senior forums.

About the role

  • Plan and execute portfolio restructures fund launches terminations and in-specie transfers.
  • Oversee all transition activity fund launches and client onboarding/offboarding.
  • Support the Head of Investment Operations with transitional activity and resource planning.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Front Office Trading Fund Accounting Legal & Compliance) and external providers (custodians brokers transition managers).
  • Ensure accurate trade capture booking and reconciliation.
  • Partner with Product and Change teams to define target operating models for new funds/clients.
  • Act as operational SME on strategic projects driving change and process improvements.
  • Lead operational change initiatives measure benefits and report progress.
  • Serve as the central contact for stakeholders during transitions providing timely updates.
  • Build strong relationships with custodians brokers and third-party providers.

About you

  • Significant experience in an asset management environment with previous experience in Investment Operations.
  • Strong understanding of fund manager routines client onboarding and fund launch processes.
  • Proven ability to lead teams manage change and deliver projects to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Confident articulate and able to thrive under pressure.
  • Detailed knowledge of compliance regulatory requirements and operational controls for financial instruments and derivatives.
