Purpose Statement
This is an exciting opportunity for a student who is highly motivated detail-oriented and customer-driven! In this role you will work with our Global Markets Corporate Finance Department supporting various functions with financial reporting and analysis.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
Develop and maintain automated reporting tools using Power BI and/or Excel VBA.
Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Assist in the migration of legacy reports to modern platforms (e.g. Power BI).
Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Help with documenting processes workflows and technical specifications.
Support projects to better understand economic impacts on business financial results (e.g. market growth rate inflation rates consumer price index).
Support additional projects to find correlations across financial data captured with other data sets.
Knowledge Skills and Experience
Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university working towards earning a Bachelors or Masters degree (concentration in Finance Accounting MIS Computer Science or related field).
Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Ideal candidate will have strong skills in Microsoft excel and/or other tools.
Proficiency in other Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Experience with Oracle BI tools Power BI and SAP preferred but not required.
Functional competencies to include strong financial & interpersonal/communication skills.
Need to have a general understanding of accounting and U.S. GAAP.
COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation its subsidiaries and affiliates (Richs) reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience knowledge skills abilities shift differential and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate
$17.00 - $32.00 Hourly
