About the Role:
As a Data Analyst you will play a crucial role in ensuring that asset data is reliable actionable and supports our organizations maintenance and asset management goals. You will be responsible for managing analyzing and interpreting Asset and Location data within IBMs Maximo Asset Management system. Your work will support our asset management and maintenance operations by ensuring data integrity generating actionable insights and enabling data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and prepare data from various sources for upload map source data to Maximo fields perform quality checks and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
- Validate and ensure data accuracy completeness and consistency within Maximo.
- Work closely with maintenance engineering and IT teams to optimize asset lifecycle management and improve operational efficiency.
- Extract clean and analyze data from the Maximo Asset Management system to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with site teams and Maximo users to gather required information and resolve any data-related issues supporting both initial data loads and ongoing updates.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving Maximo-related data issues. Support system upgrades configuration changes and data migration initiatives for Maximo.
- Train users on automated data entry reporting tools and best practices for maintaining data quality.
- Develop and maintain dashboards reports and metrics for asset performance maintenance activities and compliance.
- Provide recommendations based on data trends and predictive analytics to optimize preventive and corrective maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Experience with IBM Maximo or similar Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems.
- Proficiency in SQL Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of asset management maintenance processes and reliability principles.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Degree in Information Systems Data Analytics Computer Science Business or a related technical discipline or 8 years of equivalent experience.
