About the Role

We are seeking a versatile and technically strong Developer tojoin our role involves owning the end-to-endlifecycle of our datamodel platform and its public-facingAPIs working across databasedesign statisticalmodel integration and APIdevelopment.

You will design and optimize PostgreSQL/ArcticDB schemasconnect data models directly to the database layer and expose these servicesvia FastAPIendpoints. The role requires a balance of backend development dataengineering and DevOps awareness to build reliable scalable andhigh-performance systems.

Main Responsibilities

DataModel Onboarding:Design create and version PostgreSQL/ArcticDB schemas for raw intermediateand final model data.

DatabaseIntegration:Integrate statistical models with the database using psycopg2 or SQLAlchemy enablingdirect read/write operations.

APIDevelopment:Architect and implement scalabledata API solutions using FastAPI/RESTensuring high performance reliability and security.

Documentation& Governance:Produce schema diagrams data dictionaries and code-level documentation whileenforcing version control and coding standards.

Performance& Reliability:Tune queries create indexes and partitions and set up monitoring forlong-running processes.

PythonLibraries:Build and maintain user-centric Python libraries to streamline interactionswith internal and external APIs.

Mandatory Technical Skills

Programming:

* Proficientin Python withOOP fundamentals and design patterns (Singleton Strategy Builder).
* Strongexperience with PandasNumPy scikit-learn and Matplotlib.
* Abilityto write clean testablewell-structured code.

Databases& SQL:

* Expertisein PostgreSQL schemadesign queryoptimization and ArcticDBconcepts.
* Experiencewith psycopg2and SQLAlchemy (ORM).
* Abilityto create and maintain datamigration scripts.

APIs:

* Hands-onexperience developing and maintaining FastAPIor REST APIservices.

VersionControl & Testing:

* Solidknowledge of Git workflows(feature branches PR reviews tagging/releases).
* Experiencewith pytestflake8blackand mypyfor testing and linting.

Soft Skills

Strong communicationand documentation abilities.

Capable of explaining data models and pipelinesclearly to cross-functional teams.
