THE POSITION:

STACK is seeking a Director Legalto support the companys legal needs in a wide range of business matters. The Director will assist in preparing reviewing and negotiating contracts and other legal documents including data center lease agreements real estate acquisition documents energy procurement agreements and non-disclosure agreements. This role will also provide day-to-day legal support to business teams across the organization and contribute to the companys compliance governance and risk management initiatives.

This position will report to the General Counsel and work closely with other members of the Legal team to ensure consistency and efficiency in legal support across the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Draft review and negotiate a broad range of contracts and agreements in support of STACKs operations.
Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on matters related to corporate governance leasing real estate and commercial transactions.
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on relevant business issues.
Assist in managing risk and ensuring compliance with applicable laws regulations and internal policies.
Collaborate with external counsel on specialized matters as needed.
Support companywide initiatives such as ESG compliance programs and special projects as assigned.

THE DETAILS:

Location: Denver CO
Compensation: $215000 $225000 base salary plus 20% annual bonus potential

Background: Must pass comprehensive background screening

QUALIFICATIONS:

JD from an ABA-accredited law school required with strong academic performance.
25 years of professional legal experience as an attorney required; prior law firm experience preferred.
Member in good standing of the Colorado State Bar required (or ability to obtain admission).
Strong drafting negotiation and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
General corporate background; real estate or leasing experience a plus.
