As a Float Caregiver you will work scheduled and on-call shifts throughout Sheboygan County and across various client needs andlocations around Sheboygan within a 30-mile radius.This role is crucial for fulfilling client care needs at Senior Helpers by being flexible responsive and reliable with a guaranteed 40-hour workweek.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned
• Follow client care plan
• Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation hobbies and recreational activities
• Run errands an provide client transportation
• Provide personal care including bathing dressing toileting and medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Assist your clients with walking dressing and other daily activities of living
• Report on what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients physical condition mental capacity and behavior

Caregiver Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least18 years old
• Must have a valid drivers license reliable vehicle and auto insurance
• 2 years ofcare givingexperience
• Availability to work between 7:00 AM 9:00 PM Monday through Friday plus weekend availability (hours vary by float type)
• Ability to accept last-minute assignments with less than one-hour notification
• Possess a working cell phone and keep it on and nearby during float hours
• Must to able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Strong communication skills and remain in contact with the office when contacted.
• Unwavering patience
• Ability to pass a background check
