Could you be the full-time **N&T Backbone Transmission Network (BTN) Designer** were looking for
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside innovative collaborative and results-driven teammates.
Youll play a key role in designing and delivering N&T Backbone Transmission Network (BTN) specifications that align with the System Delivery Plan ensuring seamless deployment and integration. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (installation teams cybersecurity teams power experts) contribute to technical reviews and support deployment activities such as installation testing and commissioning.
Youll specifically take care of BTN design specifications (Preliminary and Detailed Design) and ensure compliance with quality processes but also contribute to addressing plans and technical room surveys.
Well look to you for:
Elaborating N&T BTN Design specifications in line with engineering rules and best practices
Ensuring adherence to quality processes and promoting ethical conduct
Minimizing deployment costs lead times and risks through efficient design
Developing BTN requirements with a focus on dimensioning and cybersecurity
Supporting functional validation and troubleshooting tasks
Preparing and executing design reviews and managing technical gaps

BE/Masters degree in Engineering with 8 years of experience
Proven experience in LAN/WAN design and deployment of GbEthernet and IP-MPLS solutions
Knowledge of RFC protocols IP routing QoS and cybersecurity (802.1x Radius Firewall)
Familiarity with monitoring tools traffic analysis and general IP techniques
Certifications such as CCNP or CCIE (or equivalent)
Experience with fiber deployments and troubleshooting (desirable)
Knowledge of major telco suppliers like Cisco Nokia Huawei etc.
