Job Summary

As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying and driving new business opportunities building long-term partnerships and providing clients with innovative solutions that are tailored specifically to their business needs.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Understanding the clients objectives buying criteria and decision-making process and form long-term business partnerships
  • Actively and successfully managing the sales process from start to finish including managing and maintaining your sales pipeline ensuring all sales enquiries are followed through
  • Identifying and growing opportunities within your State /Territory and collaborate with sales team to ensure maximum growth
  • Presenting innovative business solutions to potential clients through direct communication i.e. face to face meetings telephone calls and/or via email
  • Attending industry events tradeshows and networking nights to aid in the development of new business revenue

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A client focused mindset with experience working in a fast-paced sales environment ideally with experience selling I.T products and services.
  • Exceptional Sales skills with a proven track record of delivering strong sales results 
  • Experience in Microsoft Office required
  • Experience with Salesforce is beneficial
  • Strong leadership skills the ability to engage mentor and motivate
  • Excellent communication presentation negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Financial knowledge and business acumen
  • Be highly motivated with ability to work as part of a team
  • Current Drivers License required
