In this role youll:


Working within our Engineering & Maintenance Team at Sydney Trains the primary purpose of the Program Manager role is to plan coordinate and manage programs and/or projects of a single or multidisciplined nature within Major Works.

This role is accountable for delivery of project outcomes in line with the Major Works annual program of work. They manage project scope cost schedule risk quality communications and change controls.

The Program Manager defines the timeline and sequence of activities working with subject matter experts including Designers Engineers and Site Managers (where appropriate) to engage and mobilise the appropriate Project Operations teams or contractors to carry out the work.

About you


You will plan and deliver work closely monitoring time and cost identifying when change occurs within programs and manage the Project Change Request (PCR) process in collaboration with stakeholders and clients. Including the implementation of any changes to program delivery resulting from that process.

You will complete the handover of projects and associated documents including stakeholder sign off on scope delivery for all projects.

Implement and ensure compliance with program governance requirements.

You will leverage Major Works assurance processes policies and procedures to maintain visibility of compliance across your projects.

Conducting regular checks and audits on project delivery quality outcomes with Project Engineers and Site Managers where appropriate.

Undertaking Risk Analysis for programs and projects in order to manage safety and commercial risks to facilitate decision making and risk mitigation.

This role will see you manage the timely flow of information to suppliers throughout the project life cycle.

Through development of Project Management documentation including project plans schedules resource plans and requests with stakeholders.

This role also ensures timely reporting to clients through providing regular project status reporting on forecast costs project schedules budget tracking risks and issues and remedial actions to relevant stakeholders.
