We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Sales for our prestigious resort located in the historic city of AlUla Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our leadership team you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth and enhance our market position in the luxury hospitality sector.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy rates
- Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed targets
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients travel agencies and corporate partners
- Oversee the creation and implementation of sales forecasts budgets and action plans
- Collaborate with marketing revenue management and operations teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives
- Represent the resort at industry events trade shows and networking functions
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics providing regular reports to senior management
- Implement and optimize the use of CRM systems to enhance sales processes and customer relationships
- Develop strategies to capitalize on the unique cultural and historical offerings of AlUla to attract high-value guests and events
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Hospitality Management or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in hospitality sales with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Extensive knowledge of the luxury travel market and MICE sector
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team
- Excellent strategic planning and revenue management capabilities
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools
- Outstanding negotiation communication and presentation skills
- Experience in budget management and financial analysis
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and adapt to market changes
- Familiarity with the Middle Eastern hospitality market is highly desirable
- Willingness to relocate to AlUla Saudi Arabia and adapt to the local culture and business environment
