Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Part Time Chef to join the professional and dynamic kitchen team. You will be working across a variety of shifts including breakfast conferences or dinner.
This is a great role for someone studying cookery and wanting some experience in a kitchen or for an experienced cook wanting some extra hours.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Prepare cook and serve food for the breakfast buffet showing variety and flair
- Prepare food for our all day dining and cafe
- Prepare and cook food as per menu
- Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage following stock control procedures
- Keep all working areas clean and tidy. Chef is required to wash all dishes during service
- Ensure all equipment is maintained serviced and cleaned. Report any problems to the Head Chef
Qualifications :
Your Skills and experience include:
- Experience in an a la carte kitchen service preferred
- Deliver consistent high quality food while maintaining set food cost
- Work in conjunction with service teams to ensure quality product and service to guests
- Have great communication skills & a positive attitude
- Have excellent planning and organisational skills
- Have willingness to learn and go above and beyond for our guests
