Title: Policy Executive / Strategic Planner (TECW)

Location: Philadelphia PA

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required

Overview:

This opportunity supports a Cybersecurity Division dedicated to strengthening and protecting critical IT systems and lab environments-ensuring they remain secure compliant and fully approved for operation under Department of Defense (DoD) standards.

In this role youll help manage and enhance an enterprise-level Cybersecurity Program that spans the full lifecycle-developing policies reviewing and validating security documentation performing risk assessments and supporting system authorizations.

This position is ideal for professionals with a background in Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment & Authorization (A&A) or DoD cybersecurity compliance who want to contribute to a high-impact long-term mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and document high-level cybersecurity policies and strategic plans as guided by program leadership.
  • Develop technical documentation including user manuals reports outlines proposals presentations and summaries.
  • Provide regular project updates including progress issues and completion status.
  • Offer consultation guidance and portfolio management to ensure compliance with DoD and federal cybersecurity requirements.
  • Support configuration management and software reengineering activities to assist with application consolidation migration and retirement.
  • Assist with program activities such as developing and maintaining Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) tracking progress maintaining schedules for cybersecurity reviews and updating web content management systems.
  • Prepare reports metrics and deliverables; coordinate documentation scanning data entry and tracking.
  • Respond to data calls including the creation of reports spreadsheets and other supporting documentation using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Support coordination and planning for audits meetings and secure media destruction efforts.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or another STEM-related field from an accredited institution.

Experience:

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience writing policies technical documentation strategic plans and cybersecurity operational procedures.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to executive audiences.

Certifications:

  • None specified (industry-recognized cybersecurity or IT certifications are a plus).

Clearance:

  • Active Secret Clearance required.

Physical and Mental Qualifications:

  • Maintain focus and awareness throughout scheduled working hours.
  • Perform tasks requiring prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk utilizing a computer mouse and keyboard.
  • Lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds as needed.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • Quickly learn and retain routine tasks and processes.
  • Possess strong organizational skills attention to detail business correspondence proficiency and self-management capabilities.
