We are looking for an Integration Technician specializing in Instrumentation & Controls to join Blue Origins west Texas team. If you are passionate about safe human spaceflight thrive in a collaborative environment and excel at solving technical challenges youll find this role this position you will play a critical role in rocket engine testing by supporting sensor calibrations system installations and hands-on operations - all while championing safety and reliability throughout every phase of our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate Install and Maintain:Build and install wire harnesses flight hardware and complex instrumentation systems for rocket engine testing.
• Operate & Troubleshoot:Commission inspect and troubleshoot data acquisition systems sensors and electrical circuits in hazardous and high-pressure environments.
• Calibrate & Validate:Perform sensor calibration and system validation to ensure mission success.
• Promote Safety:Rigorously follow procedures for hazardous chemicals and high-pressure systems.
• Collaborate:Work with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver on program objectives.

Van Horn-Specific Information:

Being at the heart of Blue Origin operations the west Texas Site in Van Horn TX offers eligible employees additional attractive financial incentives to supplement their competitive base earnings including a living allowance and relocation assistance. Eligibility for these additional benefits is based on the employees ability to permanently relocate to Van Horn TX.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in Instrumentation & Controls Avionics rocket/jet engine testing or similar field
• 5 years reading/interpreting electrical schematics diagrams and P&ID
• Experience performing mate/de-mate cleaning inspection assembly and testing of harnesses and electronic components
• Demonstrated proficiency with Data Acquisition Systems sensors and instrumentation calibration
• Familiarity with PLCs and installing/troubleshooting electronics such as valve positioners thermocouples and pressure transducers
• Skilled in troubleshooting low voltage systems 4-20mA signals and thermocouples
• Ability to lift 50 lbs work at heights climb ladder and stairs and work outside in extreme weather.
• Willingness to work second shift and overtime per business needs
• Ability to travel up to 25% to support additional Blue Origin sites if needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8 years experience in propulsion facility/system or launch vehicle operation integration or maintenance
• Certifications: IPC/WHMA-A-620 MIL-DTL-22520 NASA-STD-8739 J-STD-001 and/or ANSI/ESD S20.20
• Experience fabricating cable harness assemblies (power signal and data)
• Knowledge of rocket propellants including Liquid Oxygen and cryogenic fuels
• Experience with large-scale low voltage wiring and WAGO push-in termination blocks (or similar)
• Skilled in handling aerospace and ESD-sensitive components
• Experience operating forklifts scissor lifts and telescopic boom lifts
• Associates degree in electronics or technical field
• Understanding of 5S principles and tool control measures
• Licensed Texas Electrician a plus

• Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
