Description

The Business Acceleration Marketing Managerexecutes business strategies andupholds standards to ensure revenue goals are met or exceeded while demonstrating best practices by achieving your own targets. Oversee a growing marketing and sales development function and will be responsible for ensuring we hit our aggressive pipeline targets.

As the ideal Business Acceleration Marketing Manager you are self-starting proactive results-oriented and focused on driving the results of our business development team through recruiting training organizing coordinating measuring coaching problem-solving and leading.

You are growth-minded deeply understand what it takes to enter a new organization and leverage a strong team around you. You have prior professional sales experience in the Data center industry and you are very excited to play a central role in the scale-up strategy of a worldwide company

Responsibilties

  • Converting marketing demand initiatives and generating a quality pipeline for our north america sales organization.
  • Scale and manage a high-performing team of 4 SDRs who consistently overachieve on aggressive goals and will become future Vertiv Sellers
  • Implement and drive an innovative Account-Based Experience (ABX) strategy leveraging intent data to create demand capture and convert in-market accounts into a sales-ready pipeline.
  • Working backward from revenue targets determine the ideal business development structure and headcount requirements.
  • Determine key hiring criteria and career pathing recruit top candidates and work with talent acquisition to refine talent sourcing options
  • Create a structured and scalable onboarding process for every phase of BDR career pathing.
  • Measure and optimize speed to productivity and BDR effectiveness through ongoing training/learning.
  • Create sales development resources such as call scripts and prospecting emails in collaboration with marketing to ensure theconsistency and effectiveness of our messaging.
  • Ensure a culture of accountability across all levels of the team.
  • Utilize tech stack tools at a proficient level: Oracle Sales Cloud LinkedIn Sales Navigator ZoomInfo and 6sense.
  • Highly collaborative leader across sales and marketing team
  • Align with marketing on account-based marketing campaigns and related outreach.
  • Collaborate with the sales department to ensure a smooth hand-off of new opportunities and regularly review the quality of sales opportunities.
  • Desire for in-depth learning of the industry and our product

Education & Certifications

  • Experience with Technology Platforms such as 6sense Zoominfo Linkedin Sales Navigator Oracle Sales Cloud

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a business-related or technical field preferred (or equivalent of education and experience)
  • 5 years minimum of sales experience as a top performer including time as a team lead coach or manager preferably in a sales development role at a fast-paced technology company.
  • Experience building/scaling BDR teams(Business Development Reps) coaching recruiting and motivating BDRs as well as proven work experience as an Enterprise BDR.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure technology including software hardware and/or networking preferred.
  • Proven experience working successfully with marketing teams
