Working in Allawah you will utilise a person-centred care approach to the provision of the physical and emotional needs of residents/clients. You will participate in their total care and orientate to their individual needs to enable them to live a meaningful life and maintain their self-respect.
All clinical staff work all shifts across the 24 hour day and at 7 days of the week inclusive of public holidays.
Situated on the heart of the Murray River Yarrawonga Health provides acute surgical community and aged care support for the only a few hours from Melbourne and youll be enjoying all the region has to offer - from wineries and snow fields to water and boating activities on the Murray River youll never be bored!
About the Role:
The Registered Nurse/ANUM is a member of the multidisciplinary health care team and uses contemporary standards and evidence to underpin practice. Being part of a multidisciplinary team staff members will provide high quality nursing care for all patients/residents.
This position will provide a high quality and effective service of assessment support advice and referral to enhance health safety and well-being through involvement with patients and their carers.
Yarrawonga Healths clinical staff function as part of the healthcare team at times working across disciplines promoting good communication and working relationships between all units.
We are a small rural hospital that functions as one team clinical staff may be relocated to other areas within the service to assist at times of roster shortages.
