Software Engineering Intern

San Francisco CA. On site. Full time.

Advantra is partnering with an early stage productivity software startup in San Francisco to hire a Software Engineering Intern to build end-to-end features and improve core product foundations next summer.

You will build features across web desktop and mobile apps. You will work on databases APIs UI components and product improvements. You will help enhance AI features search transcription automations and app performance. You will apply insights from customer feedback to improve the product.

1. Build new features end-to-end including database models API endpoints and UI components.
   

2. Improve core product foundations including AI outcomes search and automations.
   

3. Enhance performance for web desktop and mobile apps.
   

4. Integrate transcription recording and streaming features into products.
   

5. Apply learnings from customer feedback to product improvements.
   

6. Collaborate with engineers and designers on feature design and implementation.
   

7. Debug and optimize software across the full stack.
   

8. Write clean maintainable and well-documented code.
   

1. Experience building web applications with React or similar frameworks.
   

2. Experience building desktop applications with Electron or similar frameworks.
   

3. Experience building mobile apps with React Native or similar frameworks.
   

4. Experience building full-stack features including database API and frontend.
   

5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in code.
   

6. Experience working on side projects internships or previous software roles.
   

7. Ability to work on site in San Francisco.
   

8. Ability to learn quickly and apply customer feedback to products.
   

9. Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
   

10. Strong curiosity about product behavior and technical implementation.
    

1. Experience with AI or machine learning integrations.
   

2. Experience with app performance optimization and monitoring.
   

3. Experience with automations or workflow tools.
   

4. Knowledge of on-device recording or streaming implementations.
   

5. Experience contributing to open source projects.
