Job Summary
JD:
Web Automation with Playwright/Selenium/WebDriver IO (preferably with JavaScript or Typescript)
API Automation
Good in any language preferably JavaScript
Roles and responsibilities
4 Years experience in the software industry with experience in web API software automation testing.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright/Selenium/WebDriver IO in TypeScript or JavaScript.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers product managers and QA engineers to understand requirements and design test cases.
Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
Implement best practices for test automation including code reviews and maintaining a clean codebase.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and delivery.
Document test cases test results and defect reports in a clear and concise manner.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in test automation and the healthcare domain.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of JavaScript and experience with JavaScript libraries
Good exposure to GitHub GitLab Azure DevOps
Ability to understand the automation requirements and derive test scenarios
Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Mocha Jasmine or Cucumber.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards (e.g. HIPAA FDA) is a plus.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman Swagger).
Experience with version control systems preferably Git.
